Tell your computer what to do with a recording

(Your computer knows what to do with an image file or a text document, but it doesn't know what to do with a sound recording.)

Start > Control panel

Folder Options

File types tab

Scroll down until you find "MP3"

Click "Change" and you'll see this

Choose Windows Media Player or some other program from the list that you think should be able to play a recording.

Click "OK" or "Apply" to get out of all of these windows.

Navigate to the place where you saved the recording and double-click on it. It should start playing.
