We cross-reference our footnotes so that you can see all of the different examples of an expression. As each issue of Fluent French Audio is over 9,000 words, it's nice to be able to easily compare the different instances of a specific expression or usage.

We interview educated speakers with standard accents, but we do not edit out typical "spoken expressions" and common mistakes. Instead, we explain them in the footnotes. After all, when you get to France, you'll hear these same expressions. It's nice to learn about them before you go!
